The Senior Security Consultant is a trusted advisor to our clients, responsible for delivering high-quality information security and compliance consulting services. This role leads client engagements, conducts complex security assessments, produces executive-level deliverables, and provides strategic guidance across PCI, privacy, and cybersecurity domains. The Senior Security Consultant works with multiple clients simultaneously, supports pre-sales activities, and serves as a key contributor to the firm’s reputation and growth.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position will not directly supervise and mentor members within the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct a broad range of information security and compliance assessments, analyses, and advisory services, including but not limited to Reports on Compliance (ROC), risk assessments, gap analyses, and related security reviews.
- Lead client engagements by chairing meetings and conference calls, tracking action items, following up on deliverables, and proactively communicating with clients to ensure projects progress smoothly through successful completion.
- Prepare clear, professional, and well-structured reports that document assessment findings, risks, and recommendations tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
- Consult with clients to explain assessment results, help them understand risk implications, and guide them through remediation options and next steps.
- Provide advisory input and guidance on security architecture and control design related to PCI compliance, privacy requirements, and broader cybersecurity best practices.
- Support the sales team through pre-sales activities, including needs analysis, proposal development, solution design, and participation in client-facing discussions as a subject matter expert.
- Write concise summaries and executive briefs that clearly communicate key findings, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple client engagements and projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to stay current on evolving security standards, regulations, and threats.
- Travel to company offices and client sites across North America, as required, to support project delivery and client relationships.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, compliance, or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a client-facing consulting or senior advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of PCI DSS, privacy frameworks, and cybersecurity principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing engagements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing formal reports and executive-level documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Willingness to travel across North America as needed.
